Point of Sale Cashier
Point of Sale Cashier is a touch screen enabled interface for serving line terminals that
allows you to record sales and receive payments in a real time environment. Each
transaction is captured for tracking and report generation. All food items are visible
on screen for easy location and one touch ring up. Each terminal has a queuing capability,
allowing students to enter their ID numbers before reaching the end of the line.
This eliminates gaps and speeds up serving lines, adding more participation and
increase to revenues. Each Point of Sale Cashier terminal is equipped with built in redundancy
to handle a failover scenario if a network connection fails. Once the network becomes
available, the terminal automatically switches the connection to the Point of Sale Manager’s
database and synchronizes the data without any user intervention or lapse in serving
functionality. Terminals continue to operate even when the network is down.
Key Features
- Easy to use touch screen functionality to increase line speed.
- One-touch sale functionality.
- Local database redundancy ensures continuous operation in online and offline environments.
- Real time data communication across all schools for transactions, payments, and
account updates.
- Plug and play capabilities allow you to quickly add new input devices such as keypads,
barcode scanners, and fingerprint readers.

pricing categories and assign food items to each. Multiple meal buttons with multiple
pricing can be programmed for grade or school type. Assign specific menus to individual
POS terminals or by school type.

by classroom or homeroom teacher. Simply touch the child’s photo to show they had
a meal. When you are finished serving the class, simply touch save and all selected
students in the class will be served a reimbursable meal. You can also configure
your own special rosters for groups of students that you want to serve in the same
way. You can also choose different meal items that apply to each classroom sale.
Transactions
All transactions and details are securely saved at multiple points to ensure data
redundancy. Real time data communication occurs between all serving terminals. Transaction
information is also shared with ParentOnline, Cybersoft’s online payment system,

to transactions are recorded electronically for audit trail purposes.
